Rainy Christmas celebration

The children playing with a huge box of legos that were Randy's. Can't believe I saved them and how much the Grandchildren are enjoying them now.
Tegan and Siena posing in matching sweaters Great Grandma Gould gave them.
Nothing better than hot chocolate! Aubrey and Garrett are indulging.
Opening gifts on a rainy day.

Christmas at home

Our children, grandchildren and new foster grandchildren, (all 15 of us) celebrated Christmas on the 19th at our home. It was a house full of fun, food and great family memories.
The baby of the bunch, Tegan, 18 months tried to keep up with all of the rest.
It was raining the entire time so the children found inside activities, including jumping on our bed!

15 Stockings hanging this year

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care...
We are happy to welcome 3 foster children into our family this year...our Grandchildren stockings take up the entire mantle!
Left to right. Tegan, Siena, Garrett, Ayden, Aubrey, Joseph and Dustin.
Thankfully our fireplace goes through to the dining room with another mantel for the adults!
Left to right. Staci, Randy, Mark, Nicole, Launa, Mike, Michelyn and Derek.
Filling stockings is quite the challenge and fun!
We will be celebrating with all of them this Sunday...Christmas comes early this year :)

Grandparent's Dream!

Our grandchildren together, spending the weekend with us!
Quite the commitment, but such fun and great memories for all of us.
We had a few craft projects-making ornaments for our tree, decorating gingerbread cookies, having hot chocolate at breakfast and again when we walked outside to view the lights on our house in the evening. Note the bare feet :) Don't tell their Mom's...

Lizzards love our deck wall and Aubrey loves to catch them, share, then release. Everyone got into the challenge of capturing a lizzard! She did catch a couple, shared them and released. Aubrey is so brave and quick to catch, then gentle enough to release the lizzard.
